CSG Research Resources
Explore a Wealth of Castle- Related Research Resources
The Castle Studies Group warmly welcomes membership applications from individuals from all walks of life who are interested in the history, archaeology and architecture of castles and castellated houses of all places from the medieval to the early modern period.
Our regular News Bulletins, UK field-based Conferences and occasional overseas study trips provide opportunities for an interchange and discussion of ideas about this subject, while both our annual Journal and occasional Bibliography are the leading English-language publications of original research and significant source material solely related to castle studies.
We provide bursaries for member research each year in the form of a Small Projects Fund and contribute toward student costs covering attendance at the annual conference. For information about joining, please see the Membership page.
